In this fine chapter Slicko is back in Bob’s house after having run away and she is down in the kitchen to get a drink. Slicko sees a man that she thinks is Bob’s father so she runs over to say hello but it is not Bob’s father and the man is frightened. The man thinks Slicko is a rat and calls out waking Bob’s father who turns on the lights to see who is yelling in his house.

Slicko has smelled Spring and ran away from Bob and her cage. She runs up a tree and hides, but when it is time to eat, she cannot find any food anywhere. Slicko finds her way into the attic of Bob’s house after a long night of rain and cold and falls asleep. When she wakes up, it is dark, and she goes downstairs to get a drink. When she gets to the kitchen, she sees a man and thinks it is Bob’s father. They are both about to get a surprise.

Slicko is happy in her cage and likes Bob and his sisters. Bob is teaching Slicko lots of new tricks, and she enjoys learning them as she gets food and treats when she is finished. Slicko is happy to be there for the winter as she has lots of food, but when she starts to smell Spring, something stirs inside her. What will that mean?

Slicko is happy in her box. She has lots of nuts, water, and a soft place to sleep, but she is excited to see her new cage. Slicko doesn’t know what a cage is, and when Bob, the boy, brings out a large wire thing, she is not so sure she will like it. Bob puts Slicko into the cage, and she sees a large wheel inside. Bob is determined to get Slicko to run on it, and Slicko thinks she’ll never touch it. How is this going to work?

Slicko was caught when she went to get those nuts in the pile. The trap hurt her leg a bit, but now she is in a soft, dark place being taken somewhere. The boy was gentle when he picked her up and put her in the bag, but she was nervous now and didn’t know what to expect.

Slicko found the perfect pile of nuts in a clearing, but when she went to get them, something snapped around her leg. She lies down and tries to figure out what happened. Could it be an owl? A hawk? Maybe a snake? Slicko sees it is a trap. She waits to see who or what will come and get her out.

Slicko and Mappo looked at the circus until some men came out and then they both ran away. Slicko has gathered some nuts to put into Aunt Whitey’s nest and gathers more when she hears a crashing sound coming through the forest. It is Tum Tum the elephant but Tum Tum is afraid of Slicko. Slicko remembers what Mappo told her about Tum Tum and quickly tells him that she is not a mouse or a rat. After this, they chat for a while until Tum Tum has to return to the circus. Slicko decides to go and look for more nuts after a ride on Tum Tum’s back.

Slicko has met Mappo, the Merry Monkey, and he takes her to see what a circus is. Slicko is curious about everything and asks many questions while listening to the boys and men shout about ‘pink lemonade,’ ‘ice cream cones,’ and ‘peanuts.’ She had heard of peanuts from a squirrel who came from the city and talked about how children fed them peanuts. Slicko runs off when the circus men come after Mappo and starts to gather nuts when she hears a noise crashing through the forest. What could it be?

Slicko is worried about staying in her aunt’s nest alone, but after calling her and searching around, she sees that night is coming, and that is no time for a young squirrel to be out, so she settles in for the night. She thinks she will stay for a while when morning comes, so she needs to get some nuts. While she is out looking, she runs into a brown furry creature that she has never seen before. Could it be a boy that might chase her?

Slicko has been jumping everywhere now and loves practicing jumping whenever she can. She has gone looking for nuts when she meets Squinty, the pig. They chat for a while until Slicko hears her Mother calling her. She says goodbye to Squinty and heads home, but her Mother has another announcement to make when she arrives.



Slicko, the squirrel, lives in a tree with her family, and her mother and father have decided it is time for the kids to learn to jump after Mrs. Squirrel saw a man and his dog in the woods. The squirrel children are not feeling very brave about jumping, but finally, Slicko decides she will try it, and off she goes.

There are four little squirrels that live in a tree, and one of them is named Slicko. One day, their mother, Mrs. Squirrel, has been out looking for nuts to feed her children when she comes jumping into the tree, dropping nuts as she comes. Mr. Squirrel asks her what happened, and when she tells him, they decide it is time to teach the kids how to jump.

Are you excited for summer? Bernice is. It is getting closer to the end of the school year, and Bernice is starting to feel a bit worried about the changes coming for the next school year. She and Papa Bear discuss what these changes mean for Bernice before she heads to bed.

Ester entered the magical portal and found herself in a strange new world where things didn’t look the same. She walks for a while, calling out to see if anyone is around to help her, and finally, Araya answers and tells her to be quieter. Everything around her is grey and dull, and Ester misses Shirewood. Curious, Ester follows Araya to her village, where she meets a new friend named Eliza. What will happen while she is there?

Madeline is eagerly anticipating story time, her favourite part of the day. Papa Bear is preparing to tell Bernice her bedtime story while Madeline is already tucked in and prepared. After Papa Bear finishes the story, Madeline isn’t ready for sleep yet and thinks about how she can show her gratitude for Bernice’s friendship. How might Madeline express her appreciation for Bernice?

Ester has a small bag and the map, and she is going to look for the portal. When she gets to the spot where it is supposed to be, there is nothing there. She sits down, and then a tree starts to shimmer and shine, and when she stands close with the map, she goes into the portal. What will happen next?

Barker is a cute dog who is very well-trained. While waiting to go outside and do his business in the morning, he runs circles on the rug. This helps him hold on until he can get outside. Suzy thinks it is funny to watch him run, but she doesn’t understand why he does it. One day after many snacks and a big dinner the night before, Barker runs his circles but doesn’t get out in time.

Bernice is home and smells something super yummy. Papa Bear has made coconut cookies, and they talk about the day as they eat. Bernice had a great day at school, and now she is not sure what she wants to do when she grows up.

Nora woke up to find her father sound asleep beside her. She and her Mother get some breakfast, and then Nora heads to the lab with her father to look at the Storybook. Nora is not very patient as she waits for the scan results, but when they come in, she and her father are quite surprised. What did they find?

Puddles and Splash are back, and they are getting the animals ready for the day. Once they start their walk around the fence, they hear from Whiskers that Bubbles seems upset, and they head over to find out what is going on. Has Bubbles done something wrong?

It’s a beautiful Spring day, and Bernice is excited to share how wonderful it is outside with Papa Bear. But when she gets home she finds out that Papa Bear does not feel well. Will she be able to help him feel better?

Jake is at it again, and his imagination is running wild. Jake is having trouble sleeping because he keeps hearing noises during the night that wake him up. When he looks out the window, he sees his new neighbours doing things at 2 AM. What is going on? Are his new neighbour’s vampires? Why else would they be?

Do you like to help others? What is something you do that helps others? Bernice is learning about empathy at school, and she and Papa Bear talk about it at home and discuss what empathy is and what Bernice can do to help.

Norah has asked her father for some help with the Storybook. He didn’t believe it worked but agreed to look at it. Norah’s mom does not want to spend their last day tinkering in the Pod. She wants to see the large settlement near the river called Charlottetown. Norah’s dad does a quick scan before they head out, and they decide to take the Storybook with them when they leave. Will he be able to figure out why it can still work?

Ester is angry. Her mom made a promise they could read the book longer, but then abruptly closed the book and sent them to bed when the map glowed bright. Determined to discover the truth behind her fathers disappearance, Ester decides to go in search of the portal alone. Will her courageous efforts pay off? There’s only one way to uncover the truth and find out!

Do you like to use your imagination and go to far away, beautiful places? Flippy does. Flippy spends time with her bestest friend Evie but when Evie is sleeping Flippy likes to go on adventures using her imagination. Where is Flippy going to go tonight?

George likes routine. When he wakes up in the morning he likes to do the same thing the same way every day. His Mother tries to do little things different with his breakfast to see if he can figure them out. George likes school but one day something unplanned happens and a new student arrives. She is nothing like George. Charlie, the new student, is wearing colourful clothes and loves to talk. She and George become good friends, will George be able to get used to this change?

Ester’s mother has the book and is spending some time thinking about her husband and all the memories that are coming up. Should she keep reading the book or should she put it aside and go to bed? She decides to be practical and put it aside for now. The next morning all of them are restless and Ester asks if they can’t just stay home and read more. They decide to go to school but stay up later that night to read as the next day is a holiday. What will happen when they start reading the book again?

Gimbal, Salena, and Avara have met up and are making plans about what to do next. First thing they are going to do is rest. Gimbal heads to the Inn where he has a room to himself and a bath with nice hot water. He cleans up and heads off to bed planning on meeting Salena and Avara the next day to eat and talk. Ester’s brother tells her some surprising news but asks her not to tell her mom. What could it be?

Splash has let all the animals out of the barn and they are getting ready for a soccer game. Splash tells the animals that Puddles is in charge because he has to go to town with Farmer Vernon. He also tells them to stay out of the back field because there has been some trouble there. Peepers doesn’t think Puddles is smart enough or brave enough to be in charge. Peppers decides to head out to the back field and show everyone how brave and smart he is.

Bernice is ready for a story and when Papa Bear tucks her in she asks him to remind her what happened last time because she might have fallen asleep at the end. Papa Bear reminds her that Boo-Boo and Kai-Kai were out getting some treats because they had a break from school. They decided, after eating a lot of chocolate, to head to the Town of Knots. When they arrived someone called to them. Boo-Boo and Kai-Kai are about to find out who it is and why they need their help.

Rusty and Red are two foxes that love to play in the woods. It is Springtime and there is nothing better to do than chase each other and run through the woods. When they get home for lunch they hear Sage, an elder fox, talking to their parents. After he leaves their mom says they need to say away from the Eastern part of the forest. When they are busy playing the next day they don’t notice where they are until it is too late.

Bernice is hiding when Papa Bear comes upstairs to say goodnight. Her finds her and after getting her into bed tells her a story about Boo-Boo and Kai-Kai. Boo-Boo and Kai-Kai are on a break from school and are trying to decide what they are going to do. Kai-Kai is hungry, of course, so they decide to fly off in search of some treats.

Melody is visiting her Grandfather on Prince Edward Island and is enjoying the freedom that she has there. There is none of the traffic that her mother is often complaining about so she can run around picking berries and exploring. In the evening Melody asks her Grandfather to tell her a story about himself and he decides to tell her a story about himself and his dog Rastas who saved his life.

Easter is coming and I don’t know about you but I love the little hard shelled chocolate easter eggs. I only buy the little bags because I am afraid if I buy the big bag I will eat too many. Have you ever done that? In this story Bernice comes home and when Papa Bear asks her if she wants a cookie, she says “NO!” What could be wrong with Bernice?

Pip is a small rabbit who doesn’t always enjoy playing with the other rabbits because he is too slow and too small. Pip’s mom encourages him to go and play with his friends and he is great at finding the other rabbits but can never catch them to tag them. Pip decides after he loses another game that he is going to go and get some carrots for his mom, and then something happens.

Spring is finally here, or is it? Bernice is excited because it is Spring time but when it snows again she is a little disappointed. When she gets home she smells something super yummy and over cookies she talks to Papa Bear about Spring and her day at school.

Have you ever moved to a place that you didn’t want to go to? Cocoa does not want to move to anywhere else but her parents are not changing their minds. When Cocoa arrives at her new home she can’t imagine staying there but her opinion changes over time.

Bernice is off to the doctor and she is nervous. Bobby has told her lots of things that will happen there and Bernice is imagining the worst. Papa Bear reassures her that Bobby was just exaggerating and that things will be okay. They go into their appointment, meet the nurses and the doctor and realize that Papa Bear was right. They plan to have a special lunch and ice cream afterwards.

Ester is tired after a restless night of replaying the latest story over and over again in her head. She is not the only one who is moving slowly this morning as her brother says his eyes feel like they are full of dragon candy syrup. In the 8th part of our story Ester has a boring day at school talking about making clothes and how to be self-sufficient. When she arrives home her mother is not outside like she usually is. Ester goes in and finds her at the table drinking tea. She gets a cup and sits with her mother and finally asks some questions that have been bottled up inside her for a while now.

Nora and her parents have spent a lot of time exploring the beach and now they are heading to a nearby village for some ice cream. After their final meal of the day, they all head to bed and Nora hears that familiar sound again. Is she imagining things or is this artifact really working?

Red is home after her afternoon with the gang but cannot find anyone in the house and is worried because the AID has been there. When her mom comes up the stairs singing she sighs and they have dinner. When she goes upstairs and chats with the group, Charlie says he has solved the mystery.

Libby is starting to feel more comfortable in her new home, her new town, and her new school now that Margherita has joined their family. Libby hurries home after school to spend time with Margherita but Libby cannot find her anywhere. When Mom gets home she helps Libby look for the cat but she is still nowhere to be found. When Libby is throwing away the trash she hears a noise, what could it be?

In Part 12 of The Transfer Student Red is awake and thinking about the mystery she is going to solve with her friends. When she arrives at school she makes her way to her homeroom and waits for the day to begin. At lunchtime the group meets in the cafeteria to decide how they are going to solve the mystery of the Stinky Gym Socks. Kirt tells them the smell is gone but they still decide to head to the gym after school. When they are there, someone else comes into the gym. What are they doing there?

Nora is on another adventure with her parents on their vacation to Prince Edward Island, Earth. They head to the beach and her mom and dad go for a walk. Nora decides to stay and look around and when her parents are gone she hears a strange noise. Was what happened real?

Red is back and is realizing that this place is starting to feel more like a home than before. She has made some friends and she is even starting to enjoy the colors around her and the food that her mom is making. When Red logs on to her computer to do homework with her friends they talk about their day at school and Kirt brings up a mystery that she’d like their help to solve.

Have you ever moved to a new house and had to go to a new school? Libby has just moved to a new house, in a new town, and has to go to a new school part way through the year. She is a very quiet girl and is dreading how the first day will go. Maybe someone will come up to her and talk to her first. After the first day is over and none of this has happened she is dreading the thought of how long the year is going to be. As she walks home it feels like someone is following her, who could it be?

In this part of the Magical Book of Dreams Ester is feeling restless and wants to just take time off school to read the whole book. Everyone in the house is anxious and excited to hear more so they quickly finish the chores, dinner, and homework so that they can listen. Ester starts reading and the journey continues.

Nora is finally getting a trip off-planet and they are going to Earth. Nora and her parents get into their travel pods and land in time for sunset. When they get up the next day they spend sometime exploring until after lunch when Nora gets to go and explore on her own.

Bernice is home but comes in very quietly. Papa Bear says he didn’t hear her come in and then looks at her and asks what is wrong? He and Bernice sit down and talk about her day and Papa Bear tries to make her feel better.

Ester is back in the next part of the Magical Book of Dreams. Ester’s mom knows all about the book and she has decided that they will read it together in the evenings. Today is the first day that they will sit down together and read a page from the book. The page contains a fascinating account of the travels of Gimbel. Later, Ester’s mom wonders if she has made the right choice.

This is a story about Puddles the pig, and Splash the dog, who live on a farm on Prince Edward Island. It has been raining but the sun is finally out. The animals can’t wait to get out of the barn and spend their day romping and eating. There are pigs, cows, chickens, and Chester the old rooster. Let’s see what is going to happen on this nice sunny day at the farm.

Have you had a cold recently? I have and it was awful. In this story Bernice’s Friends Don’t Feel Well some of the kids in Bernice’s class are sick. When Bernice gets home from school she is telling Papa Bear all about her day and says how lonely she was because Bobby and Gertrude were not at school. Papa Bear talks to Beatrice about colds and how to help stay healthy.

Jake is looking out the front window at a big truck parked across the street at their old neighbour’s house. He calls his sister Jennifer to show her and Jennifer reminds him that Mr. MacDonald moved away and these are probably their new neighbours. Jake continues watching and sees some very strange things going on. He is convinced these new neighbours must be very unusual and when his mother tells him the next morning they are going to go over and welcome them to the community, Jake tries to convince her not to go.

Mr. Raccoon and Mr. Possum decide to have a dinner party and invite all the single men in the forest. When they are making their list they decide not to invite Mr. Crow as he goes to bed very early and is very disagreeable. When the party gets loud it wakes up Mr. Crow and he decides to go and see where the noise is coming from. When he realizes they are having a party and they didn’t invite him he decides to add some more excitement.

In this part Zack finally gets to give his presentation. Zack has gone to Rachel’s house to practice and have lasagna. He doesn’t understand how practicing at her place will be any different or help. Rachel calls the audience and when Zack sees them he starts practicing. Will his second try at his presentation be any better?

Do you get nervous when you need to speak in your class? Zack has to give a presentation and he is really nervous. He has practiced and practiced but he still would rather stay home. His mom tells him to take a deep breath and it will be over before he knows it, will that be true?

This is the final part of The White Rocking Horse. In this part the White Rocking Horse is at the toy doctor’s hospital and chatting with an old friend about times they had together. When the White Rocking Horse gets taken home Dave is so excited. When he wants to build his railroad again he leaves the White Rocking Horse in the hallway. Luckily he did as there are some visitors to the house that night that the White Rocking Horse is going to help with.

Bernice is back and wants to talk to Papa Bear about something the teacher mentioned at school. First she wants to show Papa what she looks like when she gets home. Papa Bear says she looks like a snow bear and after they get her cleaned up Bernice goes in for her cookies and a hot drink. Bernice and Papa Bear talk about her day and then Bernice asks her questions.

This is the fifth part of our story The White Rocking Horse. Dave has gotten the rocking horse as a gift and he is so excited. When Dave and Dorothy take their toys outside to play some friends come over and they play for a long time, taking turns riding the horse. After a while they take a break and the dog, Carlo, comes running along and bumps into the white rocking horse. He falls down the steps with a bang and a bump. Will he be okay?

The rocking horse has been taken from the toy store and has been given as a gift to the young boy named Dave. When the rocking horse arrives, he spends some time in the attic and makes friend with a jumping jack. It is finally time for Dave to get his present so the rocking horse is taken down stairs where he meets an old friend, the sawdust doll.

This is the third part of our story The White Rocking Horse. The Rocking Horse and the elephant were having a race and they had to stop. They got taken back to their spots in the store and then the new day started. A loud boy came in demanding that his mother buy the rocking horse for him but his mother didn’t agree, thankfully. A dad comes in later and says he’ll take the rocking horse for his son and they head home. The Rocking Horse is put in the attic until it is time for him to be given and when he goes downstairs he meets an old friend.

In the second chapter of The Story of a White Rocking Horse the elephant and the rocking horse decide to race. The elephant has put on roller skates to try and keep up with the rocking horse and they are ready to go. They are all ready to go when Candy Rabbit says “Hush!”

This is the first chapter of The Story of a White Rocking Horse. In this chapter we are going to meet the characters in our story. Calico Clown has been asked to tell a funny joke but the others are not quiet enough for him. Once everyone settles down he tries to tell the joke again but then something else happens. Will he ever be able to tell the joke?

Bernice Loves the Holiday Season is a story about Bernice and her family and how they make the season special. Bernice wakes up and is very excited, is today the day? When she realizes that there is still one more day, she heads downstairs to see what is for breakfast. Bernice notices a lot of food and toys around and asks Papa Bear what they are for. Papa Bear explains and Bernice has an opportunity to help Papa Bear and Mama Bear celebrate in a new way.

The Santa Puppy is a story about a young boy, George, who has been writing letters to Santa for the whole month of December. George has asked for a massage for his Mother and a puppy for himself. Copper, a small puppy, is looking for a warm place to stay while the restaurant owner who usually tosses his some scraps is away. He wanders into town and realizes that a lot of the places he normally goes to are closed. How is he going to get warm and fed now?

In the first part of our story Sparkles and Bobby the Bluejay decide to go down an old trail to try and find a new place to play. When they got there they found an old stone arch with writing on it. As Sparkles got closer the arch started to glow and then she walked through to a new place. She called out to Bobby but he wasn’t closely. Then she met Zippy the Zebra who offered to help her find her way home.

Bernice is cold and excited as she gets home in Bernice Prepares for the Holidays. She knows that falling snow means snowballs with Bobby the next day. Bernice and Papa talk about traditions for this time of year and how they show people they care about them after Bobby told her he was getting something very fancy for his parents and Bernice knows she can’t. Papa Bear and Bernice talk about how else they can show people they care about them.

Sparkles meets Zippy the Zebra is a bedtime story that Papa Bear tells to Bernice. Its bedtime and Bernice has asked Papa Bear to tell her a story about Sparkles so Papa Bear tucks her in and tells her a story about Sparkles and Bobby Bluejay. They are out playing and decide to head in a direction they have never gone in before. They walk until they come to a clearing and then they see a very strange thing that Sparkles peers into.

This is the fifth part of The Magical Book of Dreams. Ester is worried that she is going to have to give the book to her mother and she doesn’t know what she is going to do with it. Ester realizes that she has only six months left at school and then she can head off on an adventure but first she has to pay attention in school. When Ester gets home from school her brother is not home yet and her mother tells her to finish her chores quickly she wants to talk to her before her brother gets home. Ester is worried, what could she possibly be going to say?

Twigga and Wolfie are on a shelf listening to Bobby snoring when they see snow falling. They are feeling a bit sad and left out because they should be sleeping with Bobby, instead of that dinosaur who is in the warm, soft bed. Twigga and Wolfie decide to go on an adventure to see the snow.

Sadira finds her first artifact during her expedition to Prince Edward Island but realizes it isn’t very suitable because ice cream melts. Her next stop was a little unsettling, but a brilliant young girl finally helped her understand what is important about visiting a place and uncovering its culture. What could it be?

On her way home from school, Bernice notices a super yummy smell coming from her house. She asks Papa Bear what smells so good and if they are a new kind of cookie. Bernice has cookies as a snack but finds out that friends are coming over for a big dinner. Bernice feels grateful that she has so much good food to eat and people who care for and love her.

Sadira feels that she has been spending too much time studying material which she already knows, so when she receives an assignment to go and gather some artifacts to share with her group, she is very excited. Sadira knows exactly where she wants to go, Earth, and she hops in her pod to zoom there as fast as she can. Will she quickly get all the things she needs quickly? And what will they be?

In this story, Kitty is trying to convince her mother that she is old enough to walk by herself to Prince Street School. Her mother agrees as long as she is careful. Everyone warns her about walking down Alley St. because there is a dog there that is rumoured to be very mean. Will she remember to not walk down that street?

Paprika is a Fox who loves to run and jump with her friends. She plays with the crickets and butterflies and wishes she could fly like them. Her mother notices one night that she is having some trouble getting to sleep and gives her a great idea.

In this story Kacy and Karl are going to visit their Grandmother after a morning busy with sports practice. Grandma Nitty had sent over some clothes for them to wear and their mother would like them to wear them when they visit. There is only one problem, Kacy’s clothes are pink and she doesn’t like pink. Will they come with a silly solution? And what will Grandma Nitty do?

In this part of our story about Ester and the book she found while walking on an unused path, she again reads another page detailing an adventure by Gimbel. Reading these stories does nothing to help her sleep but fills her mind full of images of fairies, forests, and hearty travelers. When will her mother discover that she is reading this book?

In science class Bernice and Bobby had a disagreement that got our of hand. This resulted in them raising their voice at each other, which is never a good way to talk to one another. Now at home Bernice feels bad. Will Papa Bear be able to help her?

This is a story about a wolf who has made food choices that make him different from other wolves in the forest. Wolfie loves vegetables, and many of the other animals find this confusing. He has had to explain his choices many times and when Brownie the fox comes by and asks him many questions, he loses his patience. Will Brownie and Wolfie become friends?

In this story Bernice is not feeling well. She took some of her Halloween candy to school to share with Bobby but once they started eating it, they couldn’t stop. Mama Bear has taken Bernice home and she is telling Papa Bear about it. He gives her some weak tea and toast and lets her rest, hopefully she’ll feel better soon.

Are you ready for Halloween? Bernice is! In this story Bernice is super excited about going out trick or treating and comes home in her costume. Later that night after going out with Papa Bear she comes home with all kinds of candy and a request. She would like to hear a spooky, but not too spooky, story before bed. What will the story be about? And do you celebrate Halloween? Do you get dressed up as something spooky?

Tessa and Spotty the Pig is a story about a little girl and her beloved pet. Tessa first sees Spotty shortly after the piglets are born and she decides right away that Spotty needs her help. Tessa convinces her parents to let her look after Spotty and later on to even bring Spotty into the house. When Spring comes and Spotty has grown quite big Tessa’s parents say it might be time to put Spotty out in the pen with all the other pigs. Tessa doesn’t agree but doesn’t know how to change her parents minds.

The Vampire and the Tooth Fairy is a story about Lenora who has moved to a new town. Lenora has been so busy getting used to her new teachers, new school, and new place that she has not noticed that the trees have started changing colour and that the air has gotten cooler. These things mean that her favourite time of year will soon be here, Halloween. Lenora races home to talk to her mother about Halloween and can’t wait to get started preparing but when her tooth falls out, things are not looking good.

In The Magical Book of Dreams – P3, Ester can’t wait until bedtime when she can spend more time looking at the book she found. Ester has a bigger candle so she can read at least one page and look at the pictures. Once the lights are out in her house Ester quietly gets up, lights the candle, and starts to read.

The Princess of Prince Street Helps Jiggles is another adventure with Princess. Princess has not been out that much recently as her owners have taken a lot of time off during the summer. Now that they are back at work, she is looking forward to getting out and seeing her friends and the neighbourhood. Princess waits until she is sure her owners are not coming back and then she goes out to explore. This time she heads in another direction and goes to Prince Street School to see what is going on.

Do you ever wake up on the wrong side of the bed? In this episode Beatrice is have a bad day. She is in a bad mood. The sun is shining too brightly, the water is not warm enough, everything seems to be going wrong. Beatrice talks to her father and then, after some outdoor activity, has a nap. At the end of the day Bernice seems to be feeling much better.

Fiona Comes for a Visit was inspired by events which took place in Prince Edward Island this past week. Bennett is getting ready for school and when he gets onto the bus his friends tells him that a “Visitor” is coming this weekend. Bennett knows there is a storm coming and when he gets home he talks about it with his parents. When he wakes up the next morning and there is no power he realizes that it might not be as fun as he had hoped it would be.

The Transfer Student part 9 is the next story in our series about Red, the Transfer Student from Mars. Red is getting more used to her new home now but still minds the early mornings, particularly after she has been up late reading books. The Solving a Mystery Club has found a new mystery for the group to work on, but they need to have a sleepover in order to investigate this one.

Willie and Brook Create Art is a story about a brother and sister who don’t always get along. Brook is working on a great Lego castle and when Willie wants to also build with Lego she tells him to take his Lego and go across the room. Willie doesn’t always listen, what will happen when Willie takes his things over to where Brook is creating?

This story is about a young girl who is leaving home with her family on an adventure. This trip was definitely not her idea but she had to go. School on board the Orion is a hybrid approach and Mia spends lots of time studying. When she meets Miru she gets frustrated by the changes made to her schedule but in the end maybe it is all for the best.

Ester did not get a chance to see what was inside the book before the candle blew out. When she gets up, after a sleepless night, she decides to put the book in her bag and try to find time during the day to look at it. It isn’t until after school, on her way home, that she gets a chance to open the book. She takes the right side of the fork again and sits in the clearing and opens the book to see what is inside. A piece of paper floats out when she opens the book and when she reads what is written on it she looks forward to reading more.

Ester lives in Shirewood, a very quiet, safe place but she wants adventure. She is daydreaming in class when the headmaster calls upon her to pay attention, but she finds it difficult. On the way home she comes to the fork in the road and just like everyday she sees going left takes her home and right takes her away from Shirewood. This day she decides to go right for a little while to see what she can see.

Bernice is finally going to her first day of school. She wakes up early and tries to stay in bed like Papa Bear asked her to but she is just too excited. Bernice heads down to have breakfast after Papa Bear helps her find her lucky socks that have gone missing. Mama and Papa are happy to hear about Bernice’s first day of school as they eat dinner together. Bernice gets a bedtime story while she soaks in the tub and then she’s off to bed.

Bernice is getting everything ready for school and after spending some time at Bobby’s she has some questions about her supplies and whether she is ready for school or not. Papa Bear patiently answers her questions and tells her a story when he puts her to bed.

A Cat and a Guinea Pig have an Adventure is a story about Tom and Graham Cracker. Tom is visiting Tracy’s house while his owners are away on vacation. He decides, once he is out of his cage, to explore this new place and see what there is to see. When Tom heads down the hall he goes into a room and meets Graham Cracker. Graham Cracker has never left his room so they decide it is time for him to see the world and head out on an adventure.

In this story Bernice is in bed and ready for her story. Papa Bear tells her a story about a unicorn named Sparkle. Sparkle is woken up by Bobby Blue Jay and when she gets out of bed Bobby starts acting strangely. She quickly flies off and comes back with her big sister Bluebell. Sparkle doesn’t know why everyone is acting so strangely. What could be the matter?
